Q: When Should I Drop My Axel?
A: We drop ours anytime the weight is 5,000 pounds or more.
Q: How should I load my truck?
A: With the big custom sleepers, the trucks are already heavy on the front axel. Using the markings on the wall in your truck and try to load from the center of the two axels and to the rear. Always put heavier freight at the rear of the truck. As you load heavy on the rear, weight will come off the front axel like a teeter totter.
Q: When should I scale my truck?
A: We scale anytime the weight says 10,000 pounds or more. However, you are responsible for any overweight fines. Scale your truck anytime you feel as though it is heavy and the weight might not be correct.
Q: Why does my truck feel like it is bouncing when the axel is down and I put on the brake?
A: The air in the airbags that control the up and down movement of the axel is out of adjustment. Open the compartment under the box and check the gauge. It should read 60 psi with the axel down. If it is not on 60, use the knob to adjust the air. Let it sit for a minute while the air fills or releases and then make any small adjustments.
